This MFA thesis focuses on education technology as a support tool to student success and academic readiness, prior to enrollment. Mykikstart™ is a responsive website tool for college-bound design students ages 17-25. The site is the missing link to success for students who may be unsure about their academic success in design college. Using a laptop or mobile device, students will be able to live chat with an industry professional, sample assignments to discover and gauge skills, and take a short 5 question quiz to check readiness and to get a jump on classroom success early.
